Baseball: Shohei Ohtani, 11 points, the Angels beat the Royals

Shohei Ohtani picked up his third victory Friday with a dominant performance on the mound in the Los Angeles Angels’ 2-0 win over the Kansas City Royals.

The two-way superstar struck out 11, including the last six he faced, in seven two-hit innings at Angel Stadium. He lowered his run-per-game average to 0.64, after allowing two runs in 28 innings.

Ohtani (3-0) was playing on three days off after his previous start against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park lasted just two innings when he failed to return to the mound after being delayed due to rain.
