Tonight, after the end of the NBA games, eyes were on Portland for the traditional Nike Hoop Summit, a match between the best American and international prospects (19 and under) each year. The opportunity to see Bronny James at work, but also the Frenchie of ASVEL Zaccharie Risacher.
Sitting in the front row alongside his wife and daughter, LeBron James was at the Moda Center tonight to watch his son face off against the best prospects in the world. And Bronny did pretty well in the spotlight in Portland.
With 11 points (4/9 in shooting including 1/4 at 3-point and 2/3 in free throws), 4 rebounds, 1 assist (0 turnover), 1 interception and 1 against in 21 minutes (with a +/ – by +15), Bronny James did not panic the counters, but he did Bronny. Defense, a contribution in the different aspects of the game, a little scoring, with the added bonus of a successful end to the match where he helped Team USA to take over Team World (90-84). The son James effectively showed himself clutch, thus leaving behind him a complicated first half in attack.

If Bronny obviously caught everyone’s attention, the one who stood out the most in the end is called Mackenzie Conference. The Nigerian, who will play at Duke next year and already considered a future first-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, finished with 22 points and 8 rebounds for Team World.
This 2023 edition of the Nike Hoop Summit was also an opportunity to take a close look at the young Frenchman from ASVEL Zaccharie Risacher, which is rather popular among US observers. Whoever should be able to visit Las Vegas in a few months spent 24 minutes on the Moda Center floor tonight, for stats of 5 points (2/7 shooting), 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 against. Zac no doubt wanted to put on a better overall performance, but he was still able to drop a few nuggets along the way to remind everyone why he’s considered a potential Top-5 in the 2024 Draft. doubt, this experience will help him grow on his way to the NBA.
