Success on Sunday in Messina for the “Team Cardone” in the second stage of the interregional judo tournament “Restart criterium Giovanissimi”, organized by Filjkam. The sports day opened with “Judo game” which included motor activities and different judo fighting techniques and was attended by the group’s mascots, Ginevra Cardone and Samuele Russo, born in 2017 who competed on the tatami with other little judokas from different sports clubs, both awarded.
Two other judokas climbed the podium: Marco Speranza, born in 2012, who played two matches demonstrating that he managed the match in his favor and beating his opponent in a few seconds and however lost the final, but was awarded second place ; Francesco Giuffrida, also born in 2012 who obtained third place after two demanding fights.

Our hope is to make Judo grow and become more and more known so that more and more people, but above all children, can approach a complete and highly disciplined Olympic sport.
