ATP Ranking: Cristian Garin suffered a hard fall and Tomás Barrios achieved a significant rise

Chilean tennis players Cristian Garin and Tomás Barrios starred in separate movements in the ATP ranking updatealthough with different realities after the last week of the circuit.

Garin, who reached the quarterfinals in the Houston tournament, lost 45 points, which allowed him to lose 10 positions in the ranking and fall to 84th place.

Meanwhile, Barrios, who celebrated his second Challenger title yesterday, climbed 39 places and placed 145th, surpassing Alejandro Tabilo as number three in Chile. Nicolás Jarry, meanwhile, went up one place and is 58th.

At the top, Novak Djokovic remained at the top of the world rankings, above the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz and the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.
