Argentina first, Indonesia rises to 149th

FIFA released the latest ranking. Argentina finally took first place again, while Indonesia rose two stripes to now be in 149th place.

In a FIFA release, Argentina overtook Brazil in world number one. That was after Team Tango swept two FIFA matches Matchday with big wins over Panama and Curacao, while Brazil lost to Morocco.

Argentina is now a collection of 1840.93 points. Slightly superior to France in second place with 1838.45 points and Brazil had to drop to third place with 1834.21 points.

In the top 10 positions, not much ranking has changed. From number 4 to 10 in a row still occupied by Belgium, England, the Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Portugal and Spain.

Indonesia, which won and drew against Burundi at FIFA Matchday get extra points. Indonesia also rose two strips from initially ranked 151st to now ranked 149th.

Even so, the Garuda Squad is still unable to compete with several ASEAN countries in the FIFA rankings. Vietnam is the country of origin for ASEAN in the best FIFA ranking, namely 95th, followed by Thailand 114th, Philippines 136th and Malaysia 138th.
