An air of the Olympic Games in Saint-Roch

The Saint-Roch leisure center had opened its doors the first week of the Easter holidays, in the world of the Olympic Games.

For the first week of spring vacation, the leisure center welcomed around sixty children a day. They made Olympic flames, medals, trophies… They also cooked chocolate cakes, marble cakes and muffins. They also took advantage of the good weather to play games in the forest.

Like every Friday, they had the inevitable big game to close the week. The goal was to find Phrygie, the mascot of the 2024 Olympics. She had traveled from Paris to Chaumont to arrive in Saint-Roch… but she had disappeared in the meantime. As a team, the children had to find it by participating in several Olympic events: volleyball, golf, shot put, slingshot, archery, cycling, relay race and long jump. At the end of the tests, there was a medal ceremony and a clue to find Phrygia. The mascot was hidden in front of the canteen of Saint-Roch, she had stopped for a bite to eat. The little ones (3-6 years old) and the medium-big ones (7-15 years old) all participated together.

The center remains open for the second week of the holidays, on the same theme as the Olympics. It is possible to register children for Wednesdays, with Céline Jolly, the director of the leisure center, at 06.24.94.27.57 or by email [email protected].
