America’s Cup, Luna Rossa returns to training and tests a new foil! “The last card” in Cagliari

Luna Rossa is back in the water in Cagliari after about ten days in which the hull did not hit the waves of the Golfo degli Aranci, remaining below deck for a series of updates just under a year and a half away from the America’s Cup. The Italian crew is preparing with its LEQ12 prototypecollecting data to build the AC75, i.e. the boat that will be the protagonist between September and October 2024 in Barcelona.

Ruggero Tita and Vittorio Bissaro were busy with the Nacra 17s in Palma de Mallorca, so Francesco Bruni and Jacopo Plazzi took turns at the helm. New foils were tested, a real “last card” as official observers reported through the official competition channel. Below is the VIDEO of Luna Rossa’s return to the water.
