Daley Blind’s time at Bayern Munich seems to be coming to an end.
The Dutchman only moved from Ajax Amsterdam to Säbener Straße in January to actually strengthen the defence. According to “Sky” information, the contract, which expires at the end of June, will not be extended.
Blind played no role under either Julian Nagelsmann or neo-coach Thomas Tuchel. The 33-year-old has only played 157 minutes in four competitive games for Munich.
The defender was unable to break through at left-back against Alphonso Davies and Joao Cancelo. After Davies’ injury, Blind could possibly convince those responsible for the German record champions in the last five Bundesliga rounds.
