The first man of Czech football was elected to the executive committee of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for four years at the congress in Lisbon. Petr Fousek received 40 votes out of a possible 55 in the secret ballot and was elected in the first round, which gives him a strong mandate. After 21 years, Czech football once again has a representative in the management of UEFA.
