A League Apart From Season 2 As Series Ends, Amazon Releases Statement

Amazon Studio announced that A league apart Season 2 will be officially ordered for Prime Video’s sports comedy-drama remake of the beloved film. However, this will be its final season, which is being developed as a four-episode limited series. The renewal comes less than a year since the series launched its 8-episode first season, which is currently available to stream on Prime Video.

The series stars Abbie Jacobson, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Chanté Adams, D’Arcy Carden, Roberta Colindrez, Nick Offerman, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, ​​Kate Berlant, Kendall Johnson, Kelly McCormack, Alex Désert, Priscilla Delgado, Aaron Jennings, Molly Ephraim, Melanie Field and Dale Dickey. Additionally, 95-year-old original All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) player Maybelle Blair will return as a consultant in the upcoming second episode.
