The king Mohamed VI announced on Tuesday that Morocco will present itself alongside Spain and Portugal in a joint bid to host the 2030 Soccer World Cup.

In a message from the monarch read during the delivery of the CAF Excellence Award in Rwanda and published by the Moroccan agency MAP, Mohamed VI stressed that it is a candidacy that will unite “Africa and Europe”, as well as the north and south from the Mediterranean.
