Another constant in the NFL is the fact that, each year, league officials set key dates for the upcoming season.

It’s never too early to prepare for football season, so for zealous fans looking to mark their favorite NFL team’s training camp on their calendar, here are some dates to consider.

When does NFL training camp start in 2023?

NFL football operations have released their “2023 Important NFL Dates,” which denotes every major schedule event scheduled so far in 2023.

At the start of March, the schedule only extends into May, with May 22 and 24 being marked as “League Spring Meeting, TBD”.

Key dates for NFL training camp have yet to be released, but the league said on May 15, “rookie football development programs begin.”

While the exact dates are subject to change, the NFL schedule follows a similar pattern each season, which means training camp always begins at around the same time each year. Although dates are not yet final, NFL training camp is expected to begin in the second half of July.

In 2022, DAZN has shared training camp dates for all 32 NFL teams, with rookies reporting for camp between July 18-26 and veterans between July 23-26.

This year, the NFL is expected to stick to its usual schedule, which means training camp will start in July as usual. As for other important NFL dates, teams will likely begin OTAs in late May, rookie minicamps in mid-May, and mandatory minicamps in mid-June.
