At the “De Bellis” Secondary School of Castellana-Grotte the Student Sports Games get underway; the coordinators of the activities were the teachers of Physical Education Lucia Maria Ivone and Carlo Antonucci.
The proposed activities: Volleyball, Dancing, Table Tennis, Badminton. The Student Championships represent an introductory path to sports practice in various disciplines, integrate the fundamental principle according to which motor activity is one of the most effective tools for helping young people to face situations that favor the processes of psychological, emotional, social, other than physics.
The Student Sports Games promote individual and team sports activities through extra-curricular lessons, promoting: self-knowledge, socialisation, internalisation of the values of sport and the inclusion of the weakest and most disadvantaged groups present among the boys. All the activities will be carried out in extracurricular hours, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at the gymnasium of the “Angiulli” Primary School, with the aim of promoting the SCHOOL as a sports, cultural, social and civil center for the area.
The Provincial Phase of Badminton, mixed category, will take place on Monday 20 March 2023 in Cassano delle Murge.
The District Phase of Volleyball Cadets and Cadets will take place on 21 March 2023, at the Gymnasium of the “Angiulli” Primary School in Castellana-Grotte; the male and female cadets of the De Bellis School meet the male and female cadets of the Carelli Forlani Secondary School in Conversano and the male and female cadets of the Oliva Secondary School in Locorotondo.
