Torino qualifies for the round of 16 of the Viareggio Cup

Antonino Asta’s Torino Under 18 arrives in the round of 16 of the Viareggio Cup. The grenades grab qualification in the last round, exalting themselves in the last match of the group and beating the Australians of Apia Leichhard with an 8-0 without appeal. Now Torino are waiting to know who their opponent will be in the round of 16, a pairing that will be determined tomorrow, when the teams in group B have also completed the group stage. In the meantime, however, a ranking has emerged between the first and second classified in group A (including groups 1, 2, 3 and 4). The grenades are the second best runners-up in group A. Only Empoli did better, finishing their group with 9 points. On the other hand, Toro has conquered 7, like Sassuolo and Honved who, however, remain behind because the goal difference of the grenades is unapproachable.
