A wave of robberies puts all residents and hoteliers in the town of Leganés on alertin Madrid. The last robbery occurred around six in the morning on Wednesday, moment in which two robbers entered a bar where a worker was inside and threatened her. The thieves made off with a loot of 1,800 euros in cash after destroying the establishment’s slot machine.
In the images of the security cameras From the premises, the robbers are seen searching the premises and the screams of the worker can be heard begging the thieves not to harm her: “Do whatever you want, I just opened. Take the keys to everything. I just opened. I am a worker, I’m 54 years old, take whatever you want. Please, please, don’t scare me, don’t hurt me.”
‘On everyone’s lips’ has moved to the bar in which the events have occurred to speak with Andrea, a waitress at the establishment, who tells us how her partner experienced the terrifying moment.
“The truth is that it has been a chore because now recovering this is complicated and, above all, fixing it is also expensive, it is not only the money they take, but also what you stop putting in and investing,” immediately afterwards, Andrea shows the stool with which they have destroyed the slot machine.
About how his partner iswho was inside the bar at the time of the robbery, explained that: “She is quite scared, now she is a little better, but this morning she was quite nervous and yesterday she was completely rigid, pale, she did not give rise to with ball, I didn’t know how to act and very nervous, completely in shock”.
Nacho Abad has made reference to what it means for them to open from now on at 6 in the morning alone: ”Exactly, today, for example, my boss and I have come and we plan to continue coming for as long as it takes because we don’t care, because this cannot be repeated. Above all, it’s the bad drink until it passes, now, for example, when someone comes in, you wonder a bit to see if it could be that person, if not, if it looks alike, the voice, everything,” indicates Andrea.
The waitress tells us how it all happened: ”She went in, left her things on the bar, left and they were already entering as if they were normal customers. They said good morning to her and she to them too and they already told her to turn off the lights. The strongest part of all is that there were customers outside, that they were the ones who called the police, but so that you can see the seriousness of the matter, they are capable of doing all this having people outside without any kind of shame or anything.
Andrea has explained that one of the robbers was completely hooded, while the other wore only a cap and a mask. In addition, he has indicated that they carried a screwdriver as a weapon.
Nacho Abad wanted to know what his partner did when the thieves left the establishment: “She is completely blocked, in fact, in the same video there is a moment in which she enters the bar and leaves when they are beating the machine and she doesn’t even remember entering the bar, because she was so blocked that she has no recollection of it. After the event, the machine was completely lying on the ground and she called us running and the police came a minute after these people left the door, which is what is most infuriating,” Andrea recounts in detail.
