The USA crushed Cuba and looks at the two-time championship

The United States team registered an overwhelming victory against the Cuban team to get their pass to the final of the World Baseball Classic (WBC)

Cuba took the surprising lead after Alfredo Despaigne was walked with the bases loaded

The joy didn’t last long for the Islanders, as Mark DeRosa’s team turned the score around for a lead they wouldn’t lose again on Paul Goldschmidt’s home run to drive off Mookie Betts.

Trea Turner kept the party going with a solo shot in the bottom of the second.

In the bottom of the third, the team from the strip and the stars added two more lines thanks to the bats of Tim Anderson and Pete Alonso.

Already in the fifth episode the game was 9-2 with a powerful line by Paul Goldschmidt to send Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil to the plate.

The Cuban nightmare continued with the help of Trea Turner, who hit his fourth home run in two straight nights to bring Will Smith and Jeff McNeil straight home and make it 13-2.

Closing out the night on a high note Cedric Mullins hit a solo shot to right field that made it 14-2 in the bottom of the eighth.

Trea Turner served as the game’s offensive leader for the second night in a row after going 3-for-5 with two home runs, two runs scored and four RBIs.

With this victory, the North American team becomes the first classified to the final and now waits for the winner between Mexico and Japan.
