The tenth season of the Stirnu buka jubilee was opened in the sports complex 333 / Diena

Kristaps Bērziņš and Agate Kristapsone won the longest 26km “Garmin” Lūša competition in the competition of 250 participants. The 19km “Venden” Buka distance was run fastest by the orienteers – for men Kenni Kivikas, the representative of the Estonian national team, behind whom the best Latvian Kristaps Vējš-Āboliņš finished, and for women the leader of the Latvian national team Sandra Grosberga.

In the “Vivacolor” 12km Hare distance, Andrejs Dmitrijevs, the multiple Latvian champion in triathlon and also in rowing, started the season with a victory, who last year was the only one among all distances to enter the top three in all stages, and now he has increased this streak to seven times. Inna Žolnerović, the silver and bronze medal winner of the 2003 European Junior Championship, crossed the finish line first for women in this distance.

The series of victories started at the end of the last season in the 5km distance of “Sportland” Vāvere was continued by the 2020 bronze medalist in the U23 cross-country group, Ęirts Viļumovs and Simona Kārkliņa. Melanija Rožukalne, the winner of the 3000m for juniors in the Latvian indoor championship and orienteer, won the first place in the 5km absolute evaluation of the Latvian national forest school championship.

Mārtiņš Krauklis and Sandra Grosberga were the fastest in the sprint stage up and down the hill.
