A committee was formed in the fall to define the project, set guidelines and establish a timetable.
As of fall 2023, in a first phase, a greater variety of activities will be offered to students, in an extracurricular format.
The second phase of the project provides for the development of a timetable next year so that the new programs can be offered to students from the start of the 2023-2024 school year.
Building a schedule is a challenge because of different issues.
“There will be sport concentrations within the course time slots, in the morning or in the evening. There is swimming, badminton and there will be art too. This is very good news,” proudly shares Yves Dubé, assistant director general of the Center de services scolaire du Lac-Abitibi.
