The scream is from Verona: Reggio Emilia beat 78-76

The salvation clash is Verona’s, thanks to the excellent Anderson and Bortolani. For Reggio black crisis.

Verona starts strong with Cappelletti, both on the counterattack and in reasoned play and Verona after 5 minutes seems to have annihilated Reggio, lying on 10-1. But ahead of time Sakota removes Diouf and Cinciarini and puts in Senglin and Lee and the game changes: Lee dominates the scoreboards, Anim sets the pace and already the first quarter is red and white at 19-20.

Reggio tries to escape until 30-23, but Verona, despite making a great effort to rebound, has Anderson and Bortolani as the players who keep Verona in contact with their triples. In the third quarter Verona immediately scores a run of six points that digs a furrow that seems to last, even when in the final third quarter Reggio returns to minus 3, but Anderson scores a crazy triple on the siren. In the last quarter the game becomes dirty, suited to what the teams play. Reggio ends up down by 3 with two free throws, but after the first scored, the invasion whistle on Vitali nullifies Senglin’s rebound. Verona wins 78-76.
