The efficacy of Sabonis and Foxespecially inside the paint, is the key to transforming this Sacramento attack (well complemented by marksmen around him) into the best offense in the nba. They are the team that most points scored per gamebut more importantly, that of better rating per 100 possessions.
With a 39-26 record and the most powerful offense in the league, it would be logical to put the Kings among the great candidates in 2022-2023. However, there are interesting precedents to take into account: in recent years, the competition’s best attacks aren’t having the success one would hope for in the postseason.

Two of the last three best attacks in the league, Utah in 2022 and Dallas in 2020, lost in the 1st Round. Brooklyn, in 2021, barely won a series before being eliminated.
It is true that finalists and a champion also appear among these antecedents, but with no less detail: all these campaigns correspond to the Golden State Warriors. A team that we know cannot be taken as the norm, especially in the years in which they had Kevin Durant.
