The Real Club Mediterráneo, second in Spain in Regoergómetro

This weekend the celebration of the Spanish Remoergometer Championship with the participation of the main rowers in Spain through their clubs.

On this occasion, the Real Club Mediterráneo participated one more year with a large expedition of athletes who represented the entity that celebrates 150 years of history this year, rowing being one of the historical disciplines of the entity.

In the final medal table, the Real Club Mediterráneo has occupied the second position of Spain with three medals, one gold, one silver and one bronze.

The gold medal came in the Women’s Lightweight category with Natalia de Miguel as the winner, also remaining in fourth place the other representative of the Club, Teresa Díaz.

LSilver appeared in the female Under 23 category with the achievement of Marta de las Heras and finally the bronze was obtained by our rower Eduardo Gutiérrez del Álamo in the Men’s Youth category.

These victories for the rowing team of the Real Club Mediterráneo were completed with the second position for the Blanca Díaz t-shirt in the Women’s Paralympic category.

From the Real Club Mediterráneo these triumphs are valued very positively, which continue to show the great health enjoyed by the Club’s rowing team which is among one of the great references in Spain, Europe and the world.

This year 2023 transcends in a special way as the Real Club Mediterráneo celebrates its 150 years of history and it does so with the development of large sports, social and cultural activities with which they intend to value the extraordinary role that the entity plays in sports and culture in Malaga, Andalusia and Spain.
