12-JAVIER GARCÍA (6): In the end of the PT he avoided the Patronato draw. Before, he showed some shortcomings with his feet. He responded well to a free kick from Cobo in the ST. Very safe, solid.
17-LUIS ADVÍNCULA (6): It was difficult for him to settle in the PT. He is very erratic in short passes and especially in the kick. Already with the game 2-0, it was another: he did not suffer in the mark, he closed his side and even released himself much more in attack (he entered the area and everything).
2-FACUNDO RONCAGLIA (6): He went far, hit a kick and yellow. He had no problems with the mark, but he did hesitate at the start and left some doubts with passes behind. He played just 45′, but he did it well, without trouble.
4-NICOLAS FIGAL (9): The creator of the 1-0 play: he overflowed like a wing and threw the left-footed center back for Pipa to define. Very well on the mark, the best of defense again.
18-FRANK FABRA (8): In the ST he showed his best version: he returned to the adventures with Villa, reached the bottom and assisted Benedetto very well in the 3-0. He stomped on another final. It was difficult for the rival to enter on his side.
21-TEAM FERNANDEZ (7.5): He won the duel against Cobo. He did the double: he prevailed in the mark and also the times that he cut at the touch he came out playing fast, with a very good vision of the field and the game.
5-ALAN VARELA (7): This time he did seem more comfortable next to Equi. He protected the backs of his side well. He recovered part of the level that he had not been able to show in 2023 and that had caused him to lose ownership. He tried outside. Yesterday he justified DT’s decision to put it back.
41-LUCA GATE (6): Salvá covered two hand in hand, he was left wanting to score his goal. He was spicy on the right, but he was able to close the game before him. They charged him a finite offside in a play that ended in a penalty.
10-OSCAR ROMERO (8): The one who pushed the most in Boca in the PT. Standing in the center, just stretched to the right and facing the field, he made the difference. Key in the stopped ball: he put the ball to Benedetto at 2-0.
22-SEBASTIAN VILLA (8): At ST he was once again the Villa that Boca fans fell in love with: a lot of speed, vision of the game, a good partnership with Fabra and a generator of play. He had his goal, but he bitten him and covered Salvá.
9-DARÍO BENEDICT (10): Three goals out of 9: first he hit the near post and fished Figal’s low cross very well; then he beat everyone from above and took advantage of the fact that the goalkeeper went too far; and finally defined below the goal after Fabra’s pass. Moveable, attentive, unstoppable.
25-BRUNO VALDEZ (6): At halftime he came on for Roncaglia. He is neat and quick to play, one touch away. The Paraguayan defender is very solid.
16-MIGUEL MERENTIEL (6): At 20 ‘he entered through Pipa. He bounced back badly on one, but immediately ran it. He paired up with Briasco.
20-JUAN RAMIREZ (5.5): At 20 ‘he entered for Óscar. He did not solve a couple of cons well when Patronato was already delivered with 3-0. He needed to be more vertical.
29-NORBERTO BRIASCO (6): At 20′ he entered for Langoni. He had his goal: he got into the area, hit it with a right cross, but Salvá covered it. He very mobile.
36-CRISTIAN MEDINA (6): At 32′ he entered for Equi. He stopped driving on the right. He sought partnership in Ramírez and Briasco in the attack. He complied.
DT-HUGO IBARRA (8): He put all the historical ones he had taken out and they were figures. He opted for 4-2-3-1, with García for Chiquito and Equi and Varela for double 5, and it went well. Changes responded.
