The official trailer for the new Disney+ series produced by NBA star LeBron James

The coming-of-age drama will debut on the streaming service in April.

Disney+ announced that The Crossoverhis new sports series produced by the NBA star LeBron James, will be available from Wednesday 5 April. The streaming service has also released the official trailer, introducing us for the first time to the world of this training drama focused on basketball and on a boy who struggles to find meaning off the court.

The Crossover: The plot and the cast of the TV series

Based on the acclaimed novel in verse by Kwame Alexanderwho edited the adaptation with Damani Johnson (Major Crimes), and narrated in the original version by the star of Hamilton Daveed Diggs, The Crossover follows Josh ‘Filthy’ and Jordan ‘JB’ Bell, twin brothers who attend high school and are accomplished basketball players. Through Filthy’s point of view, we discover the story of their lives on and off the court, as his father, a former pro player, adjusts to his new life after basketball and his mother finally gets the opportunity to pursue her dreams.

Jalyn Hall (All American) e Amir O’Neill (Marlon) play the two brothers, Filthy and JB. TO Daron Surroundings (Winning Time) and to the beginner Himie Freeman instead, the adult versions of the two characters were entrusted. The rest of the cast includes Derek Luke (Thirteen), Skyla I’Lece (P-Valley), Sabrina Revelle (All American: Homecoming), Already Monique Cruz e Trevor Raine Bush.
