The Barakaldo fans will respond en masse to the call to celebrate the promotion

Barakaldo has already done his homework. The expectations were very high, but they have exceeded them, achieving a brilliant promotion five days in advance. They won’t throw away these remaining encounters either. They want to continue in the same vein to reach historical heights that are within their reach, such as ending the season undefeated or being the team with the fewest goals scored on the entire national scene, among others. In any case, they do not forget to celebrate an occasion that well deserves it. The club has prepared a series of events so that the fans can share their excitement and they will respond en masse.

The manufacturing entity presented last Wednesday what they called the ‘Baraka Eguna’. A series of activities to dye the whole city black and gold and commemorate the great days of the club in its centenary history. The starting signal was given at 1:30 p.m. on Calle Zaballa with a pintxo-pote. EL CORREO has contacted several clubs and other partners. All of them have affirmed that they will attend this first meeting. “People are already organizing themselves to go down with their crew and their supporters club, a very nice atmosphere will be generated very soon,” says Alain Alonso, a member since he was born.

At 3:15 p.m. one of the most anticipated moments occurred. The first team bus has passed through the square at the end of Zaballa, next to the fountain and the Elcano metro stop. The fans were gathered there, who greeted and vibrated with the players.

From there, a descent of all the fans has been prepared to the surroundings of Lasesarre, where there will be several ambigus to continue the party until the start of the match against Padura at 5:00 p.m. Everything indicates that the factory stadium will be a veritable cauldron, promoted by numerous promotions for both members and the general public to attend.

There the Federation will present the group champions trophy to the first team. A title that the players themselves and the coaching staff will upload to the Herriko Plaza kiosk after the game, around 8:00 p.m. It will be at that moment when the tribute par excellence will be made. In fact, the supporters clubs and members hope to repeat the “unforgettable” atmosphere that occurred in the last ascent in 2012, with hundreds of people crowding everything. Txetxu Martínez, from Bultza Taldea, comments that “people are very motivated and they only talk about Barakaldo, so surely this year it will be no less”. Meanwhile, Juanjo Díaz, de la Peña 1917, agrees that “it is going to equalize because we are looking forward to it after the years we have gone through.”
