It should be remembered that Joey Barton, former English midfielder, was banned for 18 months (penalty later reduced to 13 months), due to 1,260 accusations of involvement in sports betting, and, according to that newspaper, the Brentford striker is already minded for the probable suspension and will not contest the punishment.
