BASSANO IN TEVERINA – Last weekend the 50th Italian Indoor Archery Championship 2023 was held in Rimini in which over a thousand of the best athletes from all over Italy took part.
The ASD Arcieri delle Due Torri di Bassano was represented by the archer Stefano Foresi who, with his excellent results obtained during the year, earned his invitation to the tricolor event.
Over the four days of competition, the Azzurri athletes (over 1,300 archers representing 282 clubs) challenged each other in the various specialties in the competition, including class and absolute titles in the bare, compound and Olympic bow divisions. All the Olympic and Paralympic Azzurri were also on the field, to archive the last indoor appointment of the season, in view of the race towards Paris 2024.
“Our athlete, accompanied by the president of the company – specified by the Bassano sports team – achieved a well-deserved personal success in the Olympic arc, finishing in thirteenth place in the men’s master category. We thank Stefano from all of us for allowing us to live this great and exciting experience nationwide”.
