Tennis: Masters in Indian Wells: Alcaracz in the next round

Carlos Alcaraz has reached the round of 16 of the Tennis Masters in Indian Wells. The 19-year-old Spaniard prevailed against Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor.

Alcaraz, who is second in the world rankings, won in two sets 7: 6 (7: 4), 6: 3, he needed 1:41 hours. He completed the round of the top 16, which also includes German Alexander Zverev. The Olympic champion will play against former world number one Daniil Medvedev from Russia in the round of 16. Number one seed Alcarez will meet Britain’s Jack Draper.
