Wimbledon champion Jelena Rybakina is in the final of the Tennis Masters in Miami. The Kazakh defeated Jessica Pegula from the USA in the semifinals 7:6 (7:3), 6:4.
She was already in the final at the previous Masters in Indian Wells, where she defeated Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus.
Petra Kvitova from the Czech Republic and Romanian Sorana Cirstea determine her opponent at the hard court tournament in Florida. Kvitova won her quarterfinals against Yekaterina Alexandrova of Russia 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. Cirstea beat Sabalenka 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday.
