Successful belt tests for Rheintaler Adaptive Judokas

Judokas with disabilities train in this group, which is why the training is always adapted to the needs of the participants.

All athletes showed their best and even increased their performances beyond expectations on the day of the exam.

Many have made significant progress

Nadine Claus and Jessica Neff, who have been training judo regularly for many years and also have competition experience, successfully passed the half-green belt. The great training diligence also paid off for Stefan Huser, because he was also awarded a new colored “piece”.

Jan Seitz, who trains twice a week, passed the half-orange belt test with flying colours. Lea Bischofberger’s progress deserves special mention, she achieved the yellow belt.

Even the youngest members of the team excel

In order to achieve a new belt, however, it is not enough to simply learn new judo techniques. The factors of diligence in training, social behavior and motivation are also included in the evaluation. So it’s nice for the coaching team to see how the athletes have developed both technically and personally over the years, how they have integrated into the group and even made friends in the process.

Fabian Sonderegger and Erik Schädler are the youngest members of the group. The two are characterized by an extremely strong motivation. They passed the exam successfully and so the yellow belt is a little closer for both of them. The awards were received with pride and everyone was very happy about what they had achieved.

The Judo Plus training takes place on Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the dojo at Rietstrasse 35 in Balgach. Mario Bontognali provides information to interested parties at [email protected]. You can also make an appointment with him for a taster session. More information about the club is below jjjcrheintal.ch to find.
