Sven Kums would love to stay at KAA Gent, but the club has still not informed the players who are out of contract in June.
According to his wife Caroline De Clercq, this is the first time that Sven Kums has found himself in this situation. “The club indicated in October that they would sit together. It is now March. Then I think: just talk. I find that so strange,” she tells Het Laatste Nieuws.
“Even if you can’t give the player any clarity yet, say so. Or if they want Sven to look for another team, let them know. Sven is not irritated, but disappointed. This doesn’t feel respectful.”
