Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry plans to return from a leg injury on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers, sources told TNT’s Chris Haynes.
Curry He hasn’t played since Feb. 4 due to multiple injuries to his left leg, but recently began participating in team scrimmages.
The Warriors reportedly expected him to return at some point during their next three-game road trip, which begins against the Lakers.
Head coach Steve Kerr said Stephen would miss his back-to-back games on Thursday and Friday and will be re-evaluated before the road trip, according to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews.
Golden State has won three straight and is 5-4 in Curry’s absence, which lasted through the All-Star break.

The 34-year-old is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 assists and 6.3 rebounds per game. He’s played in 38 of the team’s 63 games so far this season.
