Sparta managed the penalty drama! Slavia dealt with an outsider, the defender of the trophy ends

Sparta lost against Slovan pod Ještěd for a long time, only the substitute striker Jan Kuchta saved it. But the home team found an answer to his two hits. The advancing team had to decide on penalties, which were better handled by the Prague team. The team from Letná advanced to the top four for the fifth time in a row.

Slavia easily handled second division Vyškov at home 4:0. Striker Václav Jurečka scored two goals. The Stitchers will play the semi-finals of the cup after a one-year hiatus, and the opponents will be known at the draw on March 10.

Slovácko has to say goodbye to the prospect of defending the trophy, after a 2:1 win in Uherské Hradiště, Bohemians are rejoicing at advancing to the semi-finals. The people of Prague decided in the first half with goals from Aleš Čermák and Lukáš Hůlka. The Kangaroos made it to the top four teams in the cup after four years and for the second time in their separate history.

Český Budějovice’s progress was kicked off by striker Tomáš Zajíc, who in the first half opened the visitors’ net twice and thus led the South Bohemian team to a 2:1 victory. Dynamo advanced to the cup semi-finals after 16 years.
