Sparta took control of Šlágr in Vítkovice. Baník scored for the first time in the 18th minute after Jan Kuchta’s strike, two minutes later Tomáš Čvančara secured Letenský’s lead, second from the Bombers in red. He underlined the Spartan dominance with another hit after the break.
Letenští lost only two points for a draw in the last ten rounds and won six times in a row in the league. Ostrava, on the other hand, did not win five times in a row in the highest competition.
