Six Nations Tournament: the ghost François Cros has the fangs for the Crunch

It’s the kind of moment when a whole club and its supporters wince. Sunday September 11, 2022, François Cros returns to the lawn in place of Anthony Jelonch to play the second half of the Sunday clash of the Top 14 between Stade Toulouse and Toulon. For his back-to-school match, his first since his left knee injury against La Rochelle in the play-offs in June, the third line must play the last twenty-five minutes to get back into the high level bath. Two minutes later, his ligament lets go again. He leaves the grounds, good for the operation and an end of the year far from the lawns.
