Esporte Clube Bahia reports that striker Arthur Sales is yet another tricolor signing.

The athlete arrives on loan from Lommel-BEL until the end of 2023.

Football director Carlos Santoro commented:

“Arthur is a player who can play both as a winger and as a center forward. In Belgium, he was the team’s top scorer for the season, with 8 goals and 2 assists in 19 games. In the last year of under-20, for Vasco, he scored 13 goals in 14 games. We believe in his potential to play a good role in the Squadron.”

Among the various titles for the alvinegro carioca is the Copa do Brasil under-20, against Bahia, in 2020. The following year, it was acquired by City Football Club after only 10 matches played in the main team.

In the current season (22/23), he was loaned to Paços de Ferreira-POR.

Arthur de Oliveira Sales, born in São Gabriel da Palha-ES (07/03/2002), has already started training at CT Evaristo de Macedo.
