Iker Carmona is already qualified for the national championship in the cadet category, Samuel Pradillos arrives with a good background of experience as his is his last year and he has a very good physical and technical preparation. We have a lot of confidence in him.”

As for the girls, Gómez values the work of Claudia and Sofía who lead the cadet ranking “and who have been encouraged to compete in a higher category, but are prepared to do great things.”

This competition is the previous step to the South Sector, where several communities such as Castilla la Mancha, Andalucía or Extremadura, among others, seek to consolidate their place for the Spanish Championship of the category.

Next, another of its modalities will attract all the attention in the Katas de Castilla la Mancha Championship. There will be participation in all categories, from promotion to absolute and including as a great novelty the inclusive modality within this competition in which six couples between 6 and 18 years old will also participate, also members of the Tomelloso Judo Club. It is worth noting the participation of Nicolás Parra with his partner Iker Carmona in the inclusive kata championship, demonstrating the role of integration that this sport promotes.

Young people between the ages of 3 and 12 from the entire region will enjoy the sport in their free time, allowing all their relatives to learn about the educational and training aspect that judo offers us at an early age.
