“We have already inaugurated the first stage, but we need to expand the solar park, more solar cells and the laying of the distribution lines to connect the north of Sonora and Baja California is still missing, we are working on it, we are going to leave a second stage next year”, said the president.

The federal president also mentioned that next March 21 he will be in Oaxaca with John Kerrythe United States Special Envoy for Climate, to discuss the Sonora Plan, solar and wind plants.
During his conference, López Obrador also announced that CFE personnel will report on the progress made with this plant and took the opportunity to reiterate that on March 21 it will be in Guelatao, Oaxaca, with the special envoy of the United States for Climate, John Kerry and will have a meeting with the White House official to discuss clean energy in Mexico.
“I invited him (Kerry) to accompany me to Guelatao, Oaxaca, because that day we commemorate, we celebrate the birth of President Juárez, in his town, I always do, we always go there, so we will be there on the 21st,” he stressed. President.
