Staring at the match, Persija coach Thomas Doll asked his students to forget the minor record achieved by the Kemayoran Tigers – Persija’s nickname in the previous match.

Before hosting PSIS, the Kemayoran Tigers brought a bad record with the last three matches without a win.
Most recently, in the 30th week, Persija lost 0-2 at the Persik Kediri headquarters, last March 12.
Thomas Doll also revealed that his team did not prepare much because they only had so little time.
“We didn’t have much time between games.
We travel, and we focus on recovery.
And rejoin as a team,” said Doll, in a pre-match press conference, Wednesday (15/3/2023).
“The most important thing is that we can play with our own style and forget about the previous game against Kediri,” he said.
