U13 judoka also on course for success – southern Bavaria’s best: Fiona Nowak, who won against her twin sister in the final
Radiant, young athletes and their supervisor Thomas Nowak: The U13 judoka from Team Bad Aibling also remain on the best course of success.
The southern Bavarian individual championships for the youngest in judo took place at the weekend. Organizer was the Lower Bavarian TSV Mitterfels. A total of seven boys and girls from TuS Bad Aibling qualified for the tournament.
The twin sisters Fiona and Louisa Nowak were able to assert themselves against their opponents in the preliminary round and then faced each other as siblings in the final, as they did at the Upper Bavarian Individual Championship.
Fiona was a little bit luckier again and won against her sister. She was deserved Southern Bavarian Champion 2023 in her weight class and won gold – Louisa thus silver.
Marisa Rueger fought hard and only had to admit defeat to her opponent in the final. She was finally able to claim an excellent second place and thus the South Bavarian runner-up title be happy.
Also Louise Wachtel showed very nice judo and was able to get one bronze medal to back up.
Unfortunately, due to illness Nora Skrynecki have to do without.
The boys of the TuS judoka also showed good techniques and convinced with their offensive judo.
Bronze for her: Adrian Graupner (right) and Raphael Neustätter (left) could each get a good one third place compete in their weight classes.
An excellent result for the young male and female judoka from Team Bad Aibling: With a first place, two silver medals and three third places, this tournament was also a complete success for the young judoka.
Everyone who started went home with a medal and a ticket for the Bavarian Individual Championships, which will take place in Hof on March 26th.
The supervisors Ana-Maria Budiu and Thomas Nowak who traveled with us were more than satisfied with the result and the performances shown.
