No, Neymar has not lost control to the point of spreading on social networks. The injured Brazil and PSG striker’s Twitter account was hacked on Tuesday and used to send incorrect messages, the player’s Brazilian press officer told AFP.
“It was hacked! Twitter takes care of the problem. For the moment I have no other information, ”said the press secretary of the 31-year-old striker, currently resting after his right ankle operation.
Several messages sent by the hackers have been deleted from the account. AFP was able to see, however, a message, which had not disappeared, targeting a Brazilian media in offensive terms.
The Twitter account of Rafaella, Neymar’s sister, was also hacked. The young woman posted a video on Instagram to explain that the messages on her account did not come from her.
Neymar’s season, the sixth in the capital, ended on Sunday February 19, when the Parisian number 10 had to leave the lawn of the Parc des Princes against Lille (4-3), injured in the right ankle.
Initial medical examinations revealed a sprained ankle with ligament damage, requiring surgery and 3 to 4 months of downtime. The operation was performed at Aspetar Hospital in Doha on March 10.
