PSG: Achraf Hakimi’s lawyer denounces an “attempted racketeering”

Achraf Hakimi firmly “denied the charges against him” before the investigators. After the indictment of the Paris Saint-Germain player, as part of an investigation for rape, his lawyer denounces this Friday in a press release that we have been able to consult an “attempted racketeering”.

“After the few hours of hearing I remember for my part that the informant refused to file a complaint, refused to submit to the slightest medical or psychological examination and refused to be confronted with Achraf Hakimi even though the prosecution does not rests exclusively on his words, ”writes Me Fanny Colin. And to continue: “Furthermore, it results in my opinion from the documents which are in the hands of the judicial police that Mr. Hakimi has, in this case, been the subject of an attempted racketeering”.

As the Parisian revealed earlier this week, a 24-year-old woman presented herself on Sunday February 26 at the Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) police station. She then told the police that she had been raped by Achraf Hakimi. The alleged victim, residing in Fontenay-sous-Bois (Val-de-Marne), had indicated that he did not wish to file a complaint, but “to make a statement of rape”.

In her statement, Me Fanny Colin “recalls that the indictment that followed this hearing is a must for anyone who is the subject of an accusation of rape”. According to his counsel, it will allow him “finally”, “the possibility of defending himself by opening up a large number of rights to him, in the first place that of acquainting himself with the file”.

The defender was also present this Friday morning during the training before the match against Nantes. The announcement of his indictment fell when he had just returned to the field. But the player, insufficiently recovered from his hamstring discomfort, will not play this Saturday on behalf of the 26th day of Ligue 1.
