Sebastian Szymanski made his comeback at Feyenoord against FC Groningen. The attacking midfielder has been out of action in recent weeks due to an injury. Szymanski injured his knee in the away match against FC Twente and was therefore unable to play for four league matches.
“The way he came in gives me every reason to be very happy that he is back,” says trainer Arne Slot at the press conference afterwards. “Not least, and I don’t say anything annoying with that, when I say that Javairô didn’t feel overly happy in that position.
