After 18 games, the EuroCup regular season has (finally) delivered its verdict. Place in the playoffs with two affordable posters for the French representatives.
Both fifth in their group, the two French clubs inherited an affordable poster in the 1/8th finals of the EuroCup, but without the home advantage. Paris will have to cross Europe to challenge Lietkabelis Panevezys (Lithuania), a Lithuanian team which has exactly the same record (10v-8d). As for JL Bourg, their success in the evening in Ljubljana (88-75) represents a formidable deal from the perspective of the playoffs: this victory allows them to move from 8th to 5th place, and therefore to swap the scarecrow Gran Canaria for a much less frightening opponent, Promitheas Patras (Greece).
After an endless regular season of 18 games, the four playoff rounds will be played in dry matches each time.
Playoff posters:
- Gran Canaria – Bursaspor
- Ankara – Brescia
- Hapoel Tel-Aviv – Venise
- Promitheas Patras – Bourg-en-Bresse
- Lietkabel Panevezys – Paris
- Ratiopharm Ulm – Future Podgorica
- Badalone – London
- Prometey – Hambourg
