Salon. The Federation of Nautical Industries (FIN) announced on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at the end of its General Assembly which was held in Paris, that the Nautic show would not be organized this year. The association which brings together economic players in the sector has launched a study to consider the evolution of its flagship event. If the show has been made permanent with an annual meeting in Paris, it should evolve in its form.
The next Nautic could thus be held in the fall of 2024, around mid-October, and no longer at the end of the year, in December. Its place could also change in order to place the boats in their element, water. A solution on the banks of the Seine would be studied, with mooring of boats near the quays. The last edition of the Nautic, in December 2022, attracted 150,000 visitors to the Parc des Expos at Porte de Versailles in Paris. The sporting aspect, with ocean racing, was present there.
