NFL: Texans add Dalton Schultz and Devin Singletary to offense

The Houston Texans signed a one-year deal on Monday with tight end Dalton Schultz and running back Devin Singletary, both of whom were free agents.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Schultz could make “up to $9 million” in 2023, while Singletary will pocket $3.75 million.

In his final three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, Schultz had 198 catches and 17 touchdowns. He remains relatively young, at only 26 years old.

The 25-year-old Singletary is coming off the first four seasons of his career with the Buffalo Bills, who picked him 74th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Last year, he appeared in 16 of 17 games for his club, amassing 819 rushing yards on 177 carries, in addition to adding 38 catches and 280 receiving yards.

The running back also had six touchdowns, including five on the ground.

Cumulative in the Goodell circuit, Singletary has 3,151 rushing yards on 672 carries, as well as 16 touchdowns in 61 games.

He added 145 receptions for 971 yards and four touchdowns through the air.
