NBA: Warriors lose to Grizzlies, Green vs. Brooks dispute continues – US SPORTS NBA BASKETBALL

NBA update: This happened in the night!

The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Golden State Warriors 131-110 at home without their suspended star Ja Morant. Morant is said to be missing at least three more games for brandishing a gun at a nightclub while streaming the whole thing live on the internet himself. Tyus Jones had 22 points and 11 assists for the Grizzlies. The top pitcher of the game was Steph Curry with 29 points for Golden State.

The focus of the game was the dispute between Grizzlies star Dillon Brooks and Warriors center Draymond Green. About the background: Brooks verbally attacked Green in an interview. NBA bully Green didn’t let that sit and replied on his own podcast “The Draymond Green Show”: “You talk a lot (…) If you’re wondering why Memphis isn’t ready for a title, you just have to look at that idiot.” You can read the full history of the dispute here.

On the field, both players remained calm except for one situation when they were neck and neck towards the end of the second quarter.

Brooks still had a number of answers for Green after the game. Most notably, he shot against Green’s podcast. Brooks: “There was some fun stuff there. Yes, I haven’t won a championship yet, but I feel I was just stating the facts in the interview. We’ll see what the Warriors do with him at the end of the year.” He is referring to the possible free agency greens in the summer.

With the Grizzlies and Warriors meeting again on March 18, Green and Brooks won’t have to wait long to continue their feud.

Strong Wagner brothers in Orlando bankruptcy

Despite Franz and Moritz Wagner’s total of 35 points, the Orlando Magic lost their third game in a row. After the 124:129 against the Utah Jazz, the Magic only have a theoretical chance of participating in the play-in tournament for the playoffs. Franz Wagner had 24 points, brother Moritz eleven points and six rebounds.
