Framework updated to 19 March 2023. The playoffs playoffs of the Eastern Conference would currently involve the Miami Heat, Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls respectively. Up for grabs are two postseason tickets. Already eliminated from the chase, however, the Detroit Pistons and the Chalotte Hornets.

Similar situation and if possible even less defined in the Playoff grid of the Western Conference. The Play-in in the West is today, March 19, between the Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz.

A Texan couple, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets have been occupying the bottom of the rankings for months now. For both, nothing more to ask for at the end of the season in terms of results given the elimination, now certified by the arithmetic from the battle for the postseason.
