NBA: Capela and the Hawks return to victory – rts.ch

Beaten twice by Miami in its last two outings, Atlanta returned to winning ways in the NBA. The Hawks beat the Wizards 122-120 in Washington to once again post a balanced record (33 wins, 33 losses). For his part, Clint Capela had a complicated evening despite the victory.

The man of the match in the camp of the Hawks was once again the leader Trae Young (28 points, 10 assists). But it was De’Andre Hunter who held the spotlight in the “money time”, pulling off a crucial 4-point play 1’07” from the “buzzer” before giving his team a 4-point lead ( 119-115) by returning his 2 free throws with still 18”1 to play.

Clint Capela was however not at the party, even if he was able to register 13 points. The Geneva pivot did not manage to contain the interior of the Wizards Kristaps Porzingis, author of 43 points (his career high). The Meyrinois also grabbed only 3 rebounds, his lowest total in a game since March 2018.
