NBA, Ben Simmons injury: news and updates

He has never been 100% all seasonbut the news is that his regular season could already be over a good few weeks in advance: this is the feeling that reigns in the Brooklyn Nets home, with Ben Simmons left out last month due to an injury to the knee that leaves him no peace: “During the recovery process he had another setback without being able to resolve his back problems”, explains coach Vaughn, who without him is managing to obtain various satisfactions despite the departure of the stars who wore the Nets jersey. The Australian player hasn’t set foot on the parquet since February 15th and may not do so again until the end of a regular season studded with disappointments and missteps: Averaged 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists in 42 games played (33 as starter) in a season back from 56.6% shooting, but with a selection of conclusions that keeps out not so much and not only those from distance, but reserves very little space for anything that is not a layup. “The problem,” Simmons explains, “is that during the All-Star Break days I kept working out in the gym, doing 5-on-5, trying to recover, but doing nothing but aggravate my physical condition”. At the moment Brooklyn continues to keep him on the list of players to be recovered, but the ratings could quickly change in the coming days if the situation does not improve.
