Andy Murray He had his second appearance in this edition of the BNP Paribas Open, with the illusion of continuing to add victories in important tournaments. The Briton had a totally adjusted debut against the Argentine Tomás Etcheverry, winning in three sets. Sir Andy reached a final in 2009, as his best ever result in the Californian desert contest. His rival was the veteran Radu Albot, who entered the draw a few hours before as Lucky Loser due to the loss of Pablo Carreño. Murray reaches third round in Indian Wells

The match began tightly, with a more solid Murray than his rival, and that generated opportunities to get a break, although Albot resisted to escape unscathed. At the most critical moment, where the Moldovan aspired to take the definition to a tiebreak, Andy achieved the break and took the first set 6-4.

Again a similar trend in the second quarter. Albot managed to leave with the score tied after facing a 0-40 in the fourth game of the set, but the Briton kept insisting and left no options in his service turns. It was clear that the difference would be marked when the man from Dunblane could get a break. And that advantage would come in the sixth game, when on his third break point, Murray made the break to go ahead 4-2. Finally, the British sealed the victory with a definitive 6-3, reaching the third round in Indian Wells.
